Goombay Smash
The national drink of the Bahamas, blending coconut rum with apricot and pineapple.
The Goombay Smash is a potent Bahamian punch that combines coconut rum, dark rum, apricot brandy, and pineapple juice. It differs from the Bahama Mama by the distinct inclusion of apricot, which adds a stone-fruit dryness to the tropical mix. The coconut rum acts as the sweet anchor. It is traditionally shaken and served tall, often with a float of dark rum. It captures the 'junkanoo' spirit of island festivities.

Ingredients
- • 1 oz coconut rum
- • 1 oz dark rum
- • 0.5 oz apricot brandy
