A Floridita daiquiri of rum, lime, sugar, grapefruit, and maraschino.
Daiquiri No. 3 is the Constantino Ribalaigua Vert / El Floridita template that later informed the Hemingway Daiquiri: white rum shaken with lime, sugar, grapefruit juice, and maraschino. Grapefruit and maraschino pull the daiquiri toward bittersweet citrus without abandoning the sour core. Served up (or blended in some historic service), it is a named classic in the daiquiri family.

“At El Floridita in Havana, Constantino Ribalaigua Vert numbered daiquiri variations; No. 3 added grapefruit and maraschino and became the ancestor of the Hemingway Daiquiri.”
Keep maraschino measured—too much turns the drink sticky. Fresh grapefruit juice is mandatory. Distinct from a heavily reduced Hemingway with no sugar.
